"Steak lives in an alternate universe that i've never been able to quite put a finger on.  His photos have brought life to some of my most genuine moments and have captured in time precious, ever-fleeting emotions that i continuously try to (unsuccessfully) hold on to. The burning feeling of life slipping away comes alive in Steak's photos and I am thankful, as anyone who is around Jake should be, that someone has been there to not let this slip. It might be over soon.  "
